  1. 1. What is VAT?

    Value Added Tax (“VAT”) is an indirect tax on the consumption or use of goods and services and is applicable in the Kingdom of Bahrain effective January 1, 2019, in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates effective 1 January, 2018 at a standard rate of 5%.VAT is charged at each step of the supply chain. Ultimately consumers generally bear the VAT cost while businesses collect and account for the tax, in a way acting as a tax collector on behalf of the government.

  2. 2. Can I ship batteries?

    Any packages with batteries cannot be shipped.

  3. 3. How can I Track my shipment?

    You can track your shipments through the ‘track shipment’ feature on the website.

  4. 4. Do I have to pay custom duties on my packages?

    Yes, you are responsible for all custom duties related to your UshopVship packages.

  5. 5. When do I have to pay UshopVship?

    Once we receive all your packages ordered to our Wearhouse we will consolidate and calculate actual weight of the shipments and then send you a payment link through which the payment can be made.

  6. 6. How do I contact UshopVship?

    Click the contact us button which will display the different routes to contact us.

  7. 7. Can I ship goods which requires storage in a particular temperature?

    No, as there are no temperature-controlled facilities during the transport, you are strongly discouraged to purchase any goods which is easily deteriorated because of temperature change.

  8. 8. What if there are prohibited items in my shipment?

    In case of prohibited items, we have the right to discard, take any other actions on the items or terminate the shipping process of the shipment.

  9. 9. Do UshopVship collect import tax?

    We do not collect any import tax of shipments. If there is an import tax, our courier partner will assist to collect the tax together with the service fee.

  10. 10. Will you change the packaging of the parcel?

    To ensure the safety of parcel during the transport, we will change the carton box or package of the parcel if the package is oversized which may easily lead to the damage of parcel or the ratio of volumetric weight to actual weight of parcel is large.

  11. 11. Is there any compensation if my parcel is lost?

    If the parcel (in whole) is lost during the shipping, and is not insured, we can compensate the actual value of the parcel at the maximum value of US$100. For more details, please refer to the terms and conditions.

  12. 12. What if I forgot my password?

    You can reset your password by clicking on "Forgot password" on the Login page.

  13. 13. When should I declare my Parcel?

    After the retailer sent out your parcel, you will receive the tracking number of your parcel by email or other methods. Please complete the parcel declaration in the ………………… once you receive the tracking number.

  14. 14. How do I declare my parcel on UshopVship?

    Please declare your parcel with the tracking number, product name, unit price, quantity and product URL. You can ‘click here’ to start your shipment declaration.

  15. 15. What if I found that there is a problem with my parcel when I received it?

    In most cases, we do not open to inspect the content of the package if the information regarding the receiver and the address is correct. Please contact the corresponding online retailer if you have any doubts with regards to the package and other related enquiries.
